Why is the warehouse written in English? What is INCI?
The names of cosmetic ingredients are written according to the international INCI standard. It is not legally correct to indicate the composition in Ukrainian.
INCI is an abbreviation for the International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients, which translates to the International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients.
Manufacturers must comply with this standard and list all cosmetic ingredients in Latin on the packaging, in descending order of content in the product. If water is listed first, then the product contains the most water.
The most important task of INCI is to help people, especially allergy sufferers, see the full composition of a cosmetic component, and subsequently the entire cosmetic product, and to calculate the components that are dangerous or cause allergies and irritation.
