WHAT IS SPF? SUN PROTECTION
SPF - (sun protection factor)
There is a myth that sunscreens differ only in the SPF index, but this is not true: there are three types of UV rays. The shortest and most dangerous - "C" - delays the ozone layer. Medium - "B" - cause burns. Long - "A" - penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin, activating the aging process.
"SPF filters protect against UVB rays that cause burns. But there are also UVA rays - we don't notice them, and they penetrate deep into the skin from dawn to dusk in summer and winter and cause premature aging. Look for a label on the packaging that says the product protects against both UVB and UVA."
Degree of protection
What level of protection do products with SPF provide? Sunscreens are divided into the following groups:
- SPF 2-4 - basic protection, which protects against 50-75% of UV
- SPF 4-10 - medium protection, which protects against 85% of UV
- SPF 10-20 - high protection, protects against 95% of UV
- SPF 20-30 - intensive protection, protects against 97% of UV
- SPF 50 - sun block, protects against 99.5% of UV
What about SPF 70, you may ask?
SPF 50 transmits 2% of radiation, and SPF 70 - 1.4% - the difference is almost insignificant, but still, SPF 50 is more effective.
IMPORTANT!!!
If you are very dark-skinned and hardly ever get sunburned, then you can take a product with SPF 30. In any other cases, always start with SPF 50 - 3 days minimum!!, it is better to switch to SPF 30 then 20 and continue to apply protection until the end of the holiday.
Daily sunscreen SPF30 - has a light, unobtrusive scent and soft texture, it is recommended to use as a day care and make-up base, the optimal skin protection factor SPF 30 reflects the entire spectrum of UV rays.

How to use the product correctly?
1. Once again, I would like to warn you that sunscreen should be applied at least 20 minutes before going out in the sun.
2. Sunscreen should be renewed after each swim or every 2 hours of sun exposure. If you feel that it is starting to burn, apply more.
3. The sunscreen should not be exposed to direct sunlight - put the tube of sunscreen in your bag when you go to the beach.
It is very important to protect not only your skin, but also your hair!
And a hat alone will not be enough
A hat with an SPF of 3 to 6 is not enough. Special products prevent the destruction of keratin, which makes up hair. You need to apply a protective product every two hours and after swimming.
If you are walking with a child
Cover a child of any age regularly from head to toe with a cream with SPF 50. Even if they play in the shade!!!
